VI. Upgrading the MGV BIOS for PAL TV Output
============================================
The MGV provides 2D TV output capability from the Obsidian2 200SB and
is controlled by the MGV BIOS. The BIOS is programmed by the factory
for NTSC TV output. If you require PAL TV output support, you will
need to flash the MGV BIOS with the Update utility located on the
Obsidian Family Driver CD-ROM in the \MGV95\BIOS or the \MGVNT\BIOS
directory. To update the BIOS, perform the following for your
operating system:

 A. Windows NT
--------------
 1. Copy the contents of the \MGVNT\BIOS directory on the Obsidian2
Installation CD to a floppy diskette.
 2. Restart the computer using a MS-DOS boot diskette.
 3. Remove the boot diskette and insert the diskette that contains
    the contents of \MGVNT\BIOS directory.
 4. At the floppy drive prompt, type "UPDATE PAL". The MGV BIOS is
    automatically updated.
 5. When the update is complete, you will be prompted to restart the
computer. Remove the diskette and restart the computer normally.
 6. If you need to restore the MGV BIOS for NTSC TV output, simply
perform the MGV BIOS update again using "UPDATE NTSC" in place of
    UPDATE PAL.

VII. Removing the MGV Drivers
